My opinion - I think some changes should be made there.
#Tayasui sketches wiki how to#
Also, do we want to teach younger scratchers how to make fun of other users? I think some of them are too good at that already. We have to think to about who would come to the wiki to learn about Kaj? I don't know.

If that's all there is to the Kaj story, why put it out there at all? I mean, so Kaj messed up. ♥PrincessPandaLover Talk | Contributions | Scratch Account 13:44, 30 June 2015 (UTC) I doubt Kaj wouldn't return and find mock. That's about the extent to which people need to know about Kaj and we shouldn't really put any more about Kaj on the Wiki.

Some users later have said they were Kaj and were going to hack other users. The story is pretty much this: Kaj was a Scratcher who threatened to hack people in order to get more attention. Perhaps that's a good thing?Īmateurradiogeek15 ( talk | contribs) 01:11, 30 June 2015 (UTC) Tcodina™ user | talk | contribs | edits Kaj may be a nickname, but we are still ridiculing a real person. I completely agree with that, but I'm not sure if it's really a big deal, as it's a nickname and the person never revealed private information such as their name. We all need to grow up and let the past stay in the past. Now imagine his/her surprise (and rightful outrage) when coming back and finding a mocking page on the Wiki? In keeping with the Scratch Community Guidelines (the first item, "Be Respectful"), I propose that we delete the April Fools article on Kaj and any derivative articles. Kaj has probably matured significantly and wouldn't do that anymore. I can tell you right now that I was a very different person 7 years ago. After all, we want to be the better people, right? Anyway, Kaj (according to the article here) joined in 2008. While I do not support unbanning Kaj, I do think we should at least respect all users, even those who have been banned. If you look at the April Fools article, we are completely ridiculing this user. However, documenting that is the extent to which we should be talking about Kaj. Yes, what Kaj did was bad, and it is important that users can know the story in case it comes up.
